Wow, some great data there. I have not known someone to compare tunes with the same setup, same night before. Thanks for sharing!!

Also, great result for no meth (not mentioned in your mods). 114 MPH is really strong for a no meth setup. With some drag tyres and a good launch (1.7-1.8 60 foot)you could eek an 11 out of that setup...... just!!

Cheers,

Adrian

Thanks Adrian.

I am happy with the trap speed but still failing to get a decent 60'. I think the engine can pull a bit harder too as the afe intake is crap - the metal tray it sits on just radiates heat. I am planning on replacing the stock intake and maybe going again next week or week after.

I am going to keep testing the two tunes as well though. Also, to be fair to the cobb, I only just installed the tune that afternoon so maybe it didnt have time to be optimum - but next time I will make sure it is had some time to adapt so as to rule out that possibility.

Anyway, still happy with my procede.

Nice times Steve. It's just that launch that's holding you back. Cut a 1.8 and you will be good for a low 12. Also that 114mph trap is impressive.

Thanks Edwin. I think practice is the only hope I have of launching properly.

If anyone else is planning on going, I am going again tomorrow night - sounds like we might have a strong tailwind which might be a good help.

I am also testing out my Mr 2.5 intake vs the aFe dual cone.

Hoping to see if I can get a 1.8 - 2.0 60ft and crack a 12.1-12.3 ET

I bet you couldn't even get into the 12's and you have the same mods as me, a DCT and a lighter car. I can just see it now, Pavo at the drags FBO + dual meth setup (that works thanks to me or have I already mentioned that part ) only runs 13.9ET. You should be able to shave at least .2 off my best time so anything other than an 11.7 and you suck my friend!

Don't get me started on you Vincent. Your not far off Pavo. Always too busy for the drags these days.
You should come down to Sydney for the drags. Edit: maybe I should come up to the JB's hometown Brissy for some fun.

I'll get back out there for a run once meth is back in and work slows down a bit. Don't think I'll be breaking any records though, just happy to beat some other cars on the night

The stack was great. The COBB map cleaned up some of my fuel trims issues and my timing, AFR's were rock solid. It's a winner. I only managed a 12.3 but didn't really push it too hard cause I was just testing a few things.
