Seek and you will find...
LUX H8 V3 Custom 5000k Color. These get you the closest coronas/eyebrows color match. These were sold out in no time at LUX Angel Eyes. New production is scheduled for someday in the future. 6500k is also a cool close call, but has a subtle blue-ish hue. Those are currently in stock at LUX Angel Eyes.

Knock and the door will be opened to you... hm, but don't forget to properly close upon leaving: do mind that ballast and wiring shall by no means interfere with the perimeter of the adaptive headlights (risk: adaptive headlight failure) + ensure/double-check that you properly closed the headlight cluster covers after installation (risks when not duly sealed: foggy/humid headlight clusters and dipped beam failure).

Should you require a new Xenon cluster, BMW might tell you - if they're not in an indulgent mood - that your warranty is not applicable because of what you've self-inflicted through installation of a non OEM part + your wallet will subsequently tell you that "cluster" it is spelled "C£U$T€R".

Here's a picture of the 5000k on my 1M (picture courtesy of ruf). Pictures don't do justice - IRL it's even better.

And for those keeping it stock: I salute you too, because a touch of yellow glow in the eyes, ain't that bad too.

i was thinking why can't we just get a new H8 bulb that is 5000k for the angel eyes? maybe one of the new BMW models like the 5er or 1er has a new "white" H8 bulb so we could just order that part and put it in our car?

View from a different angle: the 1M ain't a cheap means of transport. It deserves appropriate goodies. The coronas are activated every time you're behind the wheel, so the lighting device preferably should be of high quality for your ease of mind (it's permanently on display, unlike your expensive snowboard or surfboard leaving the closet or garage only a few times a year). You're reminded to their presence every time you see the reflection of the coronas on a garage wall, or on the paint of the boot of the car in front of you when queuing in traffic.

True, LUX AE are expensive (read: over-priced), but it's in principle a one-off purchase, for thousands of hours of use. And frankly, $245 ain't a budget disruptive out-of-pocket expense, no ? Over here it's the equivalent of two visits to the fuel station. If you go for the cheap stuff, you might save one of both visits.

Unique selling point of the LUX AE is their vast experience: they created the niche of this stuff and fine-tune/upgrade it. Nothing wrong with calling them a one-trick pony ...because it's exactly thàt trick you're looking for and want them to perform over and over again. You won't contact them to get a new exhaust. They are perfectly aware about their position, so can afford to charge top dollar. And AFAIK, despite loads of cheaper alternatives offered by the competition, they have not gone out of business.

Furthermore, safety and peace of mind also should be part of the equation: do know that it can become pretty hot inside the clusters. If you think: "Hey, no heat issues with LED technology when compared to halogen". Well, after a drive in the dark, open the bonnet and feel the heat ranging around the light cluster cover area. And if you ever got the chance to touch the LUX ballast after a drive: believe me, it's some kind of hot potato you barely can hold in your hand. So, if cheap stuff accidentally melts and - worst case scenario - eventually sets your 1M front and engine bay on fire, you'll regret not having settled for the ones manufactured by experienced specialists, even if over-priced.

Nothing to do with some sort of "splash the cash" blasé attitude (which you definitely did not suggest - you approached the issue from an economical point of view ) but IMHO only common sense: if you pay peanuts, you (might) get monkeys. Sure, monkeys might be around too if you pay a high price, but it's less likely. Peace of mind (even if cheap stuff is fairly decent too) is also valuable. Anyways, to each his own. I enjoy my LUX rays of light.

two metal clips push each out to the left and right accordingly and then remove the plastic cover.

When replacing be sure the tabs on the bottom are in otherwise you will get condensation in the light.
