Removal of 1M Rear Diffuser

Can someone please tell me how to remove those plastic lugs that hold the rear diffuser in place..

Do you need a trim removal tool ?

Snip them from the top and pull them out. They arent reusable youll have to buy new ones

Thanks mate..Spent over 30 mins last night trying to establish a method of removal before giving up, and removing the axle back with the diffuser in place.

Bit of a pain thou, that they are not replaceable.

Knew there had to be a logical explanation..

There has to be a method of removing these damn clips without murdering them..
Such a PITA BMW went this way... How could they install a unremovable panel clip..

There is only 4 you need to replace and can be picked up at auto shop like super cheap autos / repco etc.... I keep a few spare as they are generic clip used on most cars..
