Had a listen to Joe's exhaust while I was over... wow!

Listen to the insane pop at 0:24s (and my rather delayed shock reaction clearly evident in the camera shaking lol)

I resisted as long as I could Ian, but.... The beauty with the Akra is the option to use the butterfly (if you have it hahaha) and be sedate and LEGAL.

It is still pricey, close to an Akra rear only from what I see.. Given there is no muffler, I suggest you could get one made without trouble for far less money.

No offense Joe, I had to respond to Mr Compulsive Sh Stirrer hahahaha

As I said before Joe, I considered one as well but thought about a custom build locally THEN we decided to sell the AW car and it was/is a no brainier to "redeploy" the Akra.

IMO the Akra doesn't sound that great. The Meisterschaft rocks and I ain't a shit stirrer John... I just say it like it is!

Just because you paid $7k for an exhaust doesn't mean there aren't better cheaper options out there!

Well if I paid that much for an exhaust I'd also expect it to be no.1... Afraid Joe's is most impressive

Wouldn't say that mate.. IMO, the sound quality, build quality and performance gains are just as good..

The only thing missing is the valve shut off that the akra has.. ( Young Chris@Advan told me he can install one if needed )

The quality is awesome and looks the goods, the only thing is its stainless although it is available in Titanium.

What I was disagreeing with is you first comment "IMO the Akra doesn't sound that great."

That's shit stirring and I have never heard anyone say that who has heard it in person.

You are playing with words Ian, I never said that Akar was better etc. this ain't a pissing contest, stop making it one will ya. I ONLY responded to JOE's thread to make comment to your original remarks that Master... Shits all over Akra.

I know you will have another shot so I will leave it with you. You win

Installed the Cobb tune earlier today.( thanks Stu@BMR. delivered to me at 11pm last night ).. Was still just feeling out the tune when that drive by was taken.. Just had the Cobb Sport Stage 1 V.03 map running.

Since returning have installed Stage 1 LT (Linear Throttle) Aggressive V4.02 map.

Whoa...have to get her on the dyno..

hey joe, listening to Stu's vid and the drive by, the system is indeed loud, very loud but it seems missing a distinct characteristic besides being loud. Maybe it's the computer and it needs to be heard in person. How would you describe the sound in the car besides the dBs?

What you are noticeable hearing is the lack of back pressure. The exhaust note is a lot higher pitched. Obviously very audible in the cabin, but not unbearable. Windows up and if sounds just the same as the Eisenmann.

Chill...but don't label me as a shit stirrer just because I don't go by the Akra boys fan club. I heard this and am entitled to my opinions.
I'll rephrase...., IMO Joe's setup sounds better than any system I have heard to date.... And no, I don't think the Akra sounds that good to my ears... too raspy, which is good coz I can't afford one.
