Noop! No holes(through and through, as on the BMW Perf rotors), just dimples on these.

Btw... Dan@United has the BMW Performance rotors quite cheap right now. $262 for a pair. Its hard to beat that price.

this is a great fine - but brakes are one of those parts that i just wouldn't "cheap-out" on... that to me is the same as saying its ok to buy knock-off or replica turbos... Just doesn't seem like a good idea.

Or you can get the real deal from ECSTuning for 30 bones more. If you google the part numbers, you might even be able to find them cheaper.

So anyone brave enough to try these out yet? A certain online mega-store that starts with an "A" also has this set available, branded Dura International. If you are willing to wait 3-5 weeks, it's $249 for all 4 rotors shipped via Prime membership to your door. A websearch indicates that Dura International/PBR/Pronto are one in the same, and even share the same part numbers. From the pictures at least, they look identical to the BMWP pieces, including hole/dimple/slot patterns and the aluminum hat profile. Seriously considering pulling the trigger.

I ordered the Dura/Pronto set from Amazon for $266 shipped to my door. The rears came in this week, and they appear to be of fine quality .. look exactly the same as the BMWP rears. Hopefully the fronts will show up next week (It's been about a month). Once I receive the fronts, I post some pictures and specs so we can compare thickness/etc to the "real" ones. I may not run them on a track (thinking of keep a set of blanks mated to more track-oriented pads - I run low-dust pads on the street), but I'm certain they will be perfectly fine for anything you do on public streets.

one difference I can see is the dimples do not have a taper/flare on top, whereas the pictures of the BMWP rotors shows the dimples with a taper

Question Help with BMW Performance Rotors

Hi, Guys: I really need some help with ordering the BMW Performance Rotors for the front of my 2008 135. I currently have the perf. rotors on the rear and now I need to replace the fronts. I ordered the part number listed on the BMW USA web site and the parts guy at my local dealer assured me they are for the front. However, after I got them in, I found the invoice for the rears and the part number is the same and they look the same (dimpled, not drilled) as the rears already on my car. I just need the correct part number for the FRONT BMW Performance drilled and slotted rotors for the 135. I can return the ones I have if they are not the correct ones.
Thanks so much for anyone's help!
PS. I have tried searching, but all I could find was this thread and no one has the part numbers listed.

Rotor Review

What is the concensus on these rotors. I am interested to see how these stack up in quality and durability vs. "the real thing."

I actually had these a while but have been too lazy to put them on. Overall opinion, while I can't speak of the material composition, is positive. They are visually identical to the Oem Performance rotors. they have the oe style alloy hats, also the holes are indeed chamfered

Can't speak on performance or longevity yet but like I said, they are visually identical to the performance rotors

Paid 89 each shipped on Amazon

Put BMWP front rotors on the front in 2008 and they and my original pads lasted 67,000 miles. Last week replaced pads with OEM and ECS drilled slotted rotors. Just a street car so could have gone with cheaper but like the look/light weight and it is not much to spend on something that last so long. A good coating of Armor All Wheel Proctector keeps the brake dust from sticking.

After about a year and half on the Duras, they are holding up just fine on the street. I swap to a pair of OEM rotors for HPDE, so can't speak the durability of the Duras for track use. Note that the rears are actually steel hats, and they do rust. I would recommend cleaning them well and spraying some hi-temp silver brake caliper paint on them to keep them looking good.

These are not the same as the BMW performance rotors, front or rear. I bought a set of the knock of Pronto branded ones, for front and rear, they didn't last 3 months before both front rotors were warped. Replaced all 4 with stop techs and couldn't be happier.
