Pictures of lower valance / diffuser painted black?

I remember seeing some photos of this before, but can't find them now.

How easy is it to pop off the diffuser? I think I'd rather just drop that off with the painter than the whole car.

My advice is instead of paying for someone it, is to get a Icarbon diffuser rep on ebay for about 300-350$, or use plasti dip and do it yourself, you can peel off later if you want to or if you mess up. The can is 5-6$ at a local home depot, osh, etc.

Yep, perfect! Thanks for the pic. Matte black only - no clear? Any issues with the exhaust tips being so close?

p.s. the performance CF spoiler would look amazing on your car

Its not at all difficult to remove the OE diffuser, there are several screws along the bottom, and the clips come out with modest force. Just be careful about how you pull on the clips, the bumper flexes with it. Take your time and its simple. There are multiple high quality cf diffusers out there.

This is mine, diffuser comes off with 6 screws and I just painted with a spray can.
I'm thinking of redoing to try and get a glossier finish.

Do you have to remove the bumper cover to get to the diffuser screws?

A couple photochops, didn't have blacklines yet in these photos.

Nope. The screws are underneath then you just have to pull out where it is clipped into the bumper. Very simple to do.

Thanks, it is a clean look. They are 19" Alufelgen Sf-71s. Look great but are a pain in the arse to clean!
They will be getting replaced soon though

I wish I thought of that! Looks great.

So correct me if I'm wrong but one of the middle screws for the diffuser also holds up part of the muffler right?

I'm trying to decide between satin clear coat or no clear. Leaning towards satin I think.

I"m wondering that myself. I'd prefer to remove the piece at home and leave it with the painter a day or two. Any problems removing the lower piece and continuing to drive the car? My commute is less than 10 miles.

Hi

How do you guys remove the diffuser?

I have removed all the screws undernealth but the tabs on the diffuser are secured very tightly to the bumper.

Tried to force the diffuser out and gave up worrying i might cause some damage.

Thanks.

It will pop off. Look from underneath so you know where the tabs are. Start from the edges and work towards the middle.
