135i crimson red. STOCK M SPORT SUSPENSION (I'm never going lower)
i want gunmetal vmr v710's front 18x8.5 et45 rear 18x9.5 et50
Now I like as big of rubber as I can fit
I've researched that 235/265 fit stock wheels so I'd assume I'd be okay on the 710's.. But I also have read that people are rubbing on the equivalent rim size and offset with 255's

And I don't want to fender mod.

Any one have factual input?

We normally run the 18x9.5 et 50 rear wheel and its sits nice and flush. With the 255's in the rear we havent had anyone complain about rubbing on stock suspension. With the V710's they are 1 inch wider in the rear over stock so you lose some clearance, so I would stick with the 255's IMO.

How about the 235 up front?

With the correct offset I'd think 235/265 will fit, since it fits on stock wheels no issue.

You left out what profile tire and what brand and model of tire you plan to use.

My informed guess would be that most tire brand 235/40/18 or 235/35/18s will fit up front. Maybe 10-25% of the brands will rub, mainly when going up over bumps and turning, like when entering a steep drive. In the rear 265/35/18 or 265/30/18 will probably rub with about half the brands of tires. It will mainly rub when weight is in the rear of the car, the most annoying rub will be when going over elevations such as bridges when at speed.

You can get that size tire if you stick with small running tire brands such as Falken, Toyo, or Nitto. You'd be in big trouble if you bought a big running tire such as most track tires.

I was up in the air on the profile, I would do which ever fit, I want a high quality sticky tire. You did explain it well though.
