Im in asheville and headed to pic up my 135 in a week and a half. Came out of an e46 zhp, and active on those forums. Now have a 2009 a3 quattro ( which is for sale) and moving to a 09 135 manual shortly. Just saying hello to my closest locals.

Just curious, you fellow Charlotte guys switch out to winter tyres for our relatively mild Charlotte winters or just keep the summer hp tyres on year round ?

I haven't switched mine out in the past and I think we are good as long as you don't push the performance on the summer tires, below 55 they start to loose grip,,,below 45 a lot of grip, DTC does well handling this so I will never take mine off again in cold weather, cost me my last 135. But just like I wont buy a 4x4 for a possible one snow a year, Im not buying winter tires for it either, Just my opinion tho. Side note, Holidays over, we should get a meet organized

Looks like I'm not going to really have to worry about it. Gonna be 73 Deg F this weekend. Good Grief.

I've driven my 128 with NCT5s in temps as low as 18 Deg F. Did'nt really notice a problem but I was VERY careful.

Snow and or ice though. I have 7 weeks of vacation due me at work. This boy will stay home.

Prices are:

Wheels VMR 701's

Specs:
- 18"x8.5" ET45mm Front 225/40/18
- 18"x9.5" ET50mm Rear 245/35/18

$700.00 - WHEELS ARE SOLD

$200 Springs OBO.. Only on the car for about 1800 miles.

Local pick-up ONLY please.

there was a nicely optioned out 328i in the showroom at Hendrick's that was white... is that what you bought? I think it had black wheels and some ground effects...

No, I bought mine last Saturday. I didn't see that one. Perhaps it was already sold? I was at the Hendrick's at Northlake.
