Sorry Tony, but the axleback from the 1M is NOT compatible. There were a few threads about this previously when the 1M was first released. because of the large box thing where our batteries reside, it wont fit.

There was debate over whether the meisterschaft exhaust would fit but I dont think anyone ever tried it. You could be the first! the stock exhaust definitely will not.

Ah! Great post. Thank you for clearing that up. Luckily the only exhaust company I hit up was Meisterschaft. Good guys there so hoping maybe they can confirm if it'll fit. If not, looks like I'm going custom! Thanks again.

I think he means fender. Quarter panels are usually used for the rear. And yes, fitment between the right fender and bumper is off. Interesting, I wonder why given that it's OEM parts.

The quarter panels and rocker panel on the other hand look like they have great fitment.

OH! Well, maybe they didn't screw it in? There's at least one screw holding those two points together. Could have forgotten to purchase them. All in all, it looks great but for some reason it doesn't look completely OEM to me. Something is throwing me off and it might just be the matte.

Maybe it's the brakes? In any case I think it looks great. If I could find a way to have the rear done for between 3 to 4k total I'd do it also.

wow you are right it is the brakes. It's amazing how much attention colored brakes can grab.

Shouldn't be too tough to get the rear done for less than 4k, as long as you are just talking paint and rolling. It cost my dealership less to paint match & fix my front bumper than order me a new bumper... (they had put it on incorrectly which led to warping of the part and several broken tabs as it stayed with them for a week while they installed new turbos.)

Hey guys, sorry about not posting anything up. This car was literally naked on friday night. We had a crew of 6 guys assemble everything over night. It was finished at 10:45 am Saturday and I left for SEMA at 11:00 am.

You're right on the front fitment. I just noticed that as well...It's only that side though. I'll get it fixed. It needs to go back into the shop to get fender liner and some other minor things.

Let me upload some photos to photo bucket of the process and after shots. Give me a few minutes!

Let me know if you find a good source for the mirrors. greater than 700 is just too darn much for that.

Sounds good! Was the exhaust a custom job or were you able to simply replace the battery well of a 135i with a 1m's?

Could you also include details like costs, etc? The 1m guys may give you crap about the convo, but for 135 guys you are a hero.

Now that flex-fuel options are coming out for our car I think my 135 is a keeper and will eventually become my 3rd/track day car. For me it's not out of reason to spend the money to really improve it's looks and be able to run better offsets.
