Rec drop height - KW V2's help

I am getting my KW's installed monday and was asked to figure out what drop height i wanted. I am not a track junkie, just looking for a more aggressive look and ride. any suggestions?

HPA recommends max 1.25" in front, 1" in the back.

I couldn't remember what I paid for my V2. It is already 3 years now. But I recommend V2 over V1 cause the default settings on the V2 is still too soft. I assume the not adjustable V1 would be on the soft side. At high speed it will still be wobbly. I have to tighten my V2 to get better control feel of the car.

I have KW V2's. My rear end is dropped as far as the V2's can go. The front should sit about 1/4-1/2" lower for it to look good. So, just measure from the ground straight up to the top of the fender arch and make the adjustments accordingly. The good thing about the front is that the height is really easy to adjust without having to take the wheel off. The back you need to take the wheel off. Make sure you drive it around a bit to let the suspension settle before taking your final measurement. Another tip is you can measure the threads on the front strut to make sure both sides are even.

Hi everyone

I am new here

I just bought kw v3 for my 130i hatch I wonder if instead of detailing how many inches you put down the car, maybe we can know the distance between the center of the wheel to the fender. I tell this because when I bought to other car tein coil overs, in the owners manual specify using this method. Is this method better or its the same to determine the height?

I've had V1 and V2's in the past and I can say there is a noticeable difference between the two. The V2's are stiffer than V1's and reduces body rolling.
