lol just to put it out there.. I know your car has run faster down the 1/4 I can't deny that at all. Quite a bit faster too so it will take a pretty damn good run from me to get close to 11.xxx anyway. I doubt I can go much lower than 12.18 as it is either.

Holy shit, ms109 is pretty good stuff. Smells like satan's piss but certainly is a noticeable power increase. Far from being a cheap option though.

No power increase without a different tune. And no power advantage over 98RON plus methanol with the tuning options available.

If you could take advantage of timing then you could sneak some more midrange torque maybe? Peter?

Yeah, I have altered the tune settings to take advantage of the increased octane. I was running a 70:30 mix with 98 to be a bit more economical. Do not yet have a meth setup so just using this in the meantime.

Kenny is correct that you won't really gain much more power with the maps on the piggy's but if you dial in a little more advance/timing with the COBB ATR you could definitely find extra power especially in the midrange.
Have you tried the COBB race map. You should be good for a low 12 with that map on 109.

I had about 10 litres of 109/98 mix this morning and decided to head over to auburn to see if I could get a dyno and find out the real difference. No-one was there so turned around and went home.

Anyway, Olympic Pde was great spot to open it up a little and it was certainly noticeable. I guess its actually the altered boost settings etc that are making the extra power but I can only run them with this fuel so, it gets the credit.

My cobb played up a bit a few weeks back so I havent touched it since.

I think Edwin will eventually post the videos. He's just busy preparing a thorough description of the circumstances of the two races! They were his worst and second worst runs of the night!
