Miami Area Meets? - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

Hey guys just wondering if we have any car meets in the Miami area still? I remember the Thursdays on 88th (Kendall) and 167 ave (by the Steak n' Shake).... any other meets?

Some pop out once in a while, but nothing like weekly meetings. Lol , that Steak and Shake is near my house. I didn't know they had meets there.

yeah man..every Thursday, close to 100+ cars. It was fun as hell. They used to move around a lot though bc of cops. Sometimes to then Pollo Tropical a lil bit more down.

They have bike nights at Hooters in Doral every Wednesday, we could do something like that. Like a weekly meet.

i've heard of meets there at the doral hooters on wed. Haven't personally been to one yet though

Yeah, but the only problem I see there is the parking.. with that Walmart parking is a mess! Maybe we can do a bar or restaurant by there or in Kendall where we can have enough room to park and hangout, then grab a beer afterwards.

I'm down. A while ago, there were group meets at the Fuddruckers in Doral (by 107th). They no longer do it, but that's cuz they changed it to a Hooters in Pines.

I'll take a look around and try to find a nice area we can do a meet. Also check the South Florida Bimmer page Face Book group for other meets and rallies. Active Autowerke is having a rally in December as well.

Yea I used to attend those, it was more of a VW/Audi meet... I had an A4 and then a TT. The meets were a forum meet as well and a joint thing with Wolfcars who are located in Doral.

Yeah I was the only BMW there. But all cars go, my boy used to take his HellaFlush TL all the time. Honda's...etc.
