If the 235i ends up looking like that, I think it should be a hit. It probably wouldn't be on sale in Australia until Mid 2014 at the earliest, so still a bit of a wait unfortunately.

Thanks for all the comments! Guess I just need to go for test drive of a 135i. A 1M is a stretch too far budget wise and I'm not sure I want a manual.

A used 135i is interesting. New is nice though!

Pity there is so many Golfs out there or else I'd consider a Golf R.

get a 135.. straight 6 = smoooooooooth. I hope they keep the inline 6 for the next model too, not some poxy 4
