I have a chance to upgrade to LCI tails, they aren't the black lines but then again they are half the price.

I was never sure that black lines weren't too dark for a black car so I think I'll go with them...that said ill probably be back in here next week ordering black lines instead

.

The LCI style light helps out the E82 so much, the stock lights just don't do it justice.

Are there any LED reliability problems with LCI lights?

is it too late to get in on this? i want the LCI LED Blacklines. And its OEM correct? I also want the one that lights up when i unlock the car. not the cheap one.

My wife forgot to clear the history on the computer. Looks like she got the hint of what I wanted for Christmas. Just saw she visited ecs tuning last night. Helps that I left a post it with the part number on the computer screen.

I can't be bothered going through 36 pages but just need some help. So i have an the Halogen headlights build year is 2006 can i fit the LED LCI tail lights for the e87 on it ?

These lights are strictly for the E82.

I believe there are black lines also available or the E87 on the website if I am not mistaken. Different part number though.

Installed mine recently, ordered from Schmeidmann on Sunday, arrived on Th. Only headache I got was from FedEx calling me twice to fill out custom forms as these are not DOT approved. And then I got a bill a few weeks later from them for $14 in duties. Still much cheaper than through ECS, top notch service from Schmeidmann!

I accidentally ordered some regular LCIs from **********s before getting the LCI blacklines from Schmiedmann, so in case anyone is curious for a side-by-side (uninstalled) here you go:

I returned the regular LCIs but plan to swap the blacklines onto my new 135is in the next week. Will post pics in case some of you can't get enough

They are plug and play for all year e82 models. It will work for you! Buy them!

Blacklines are Black, as in they are a tinted tail lights from the factory. But not they don't have DOT approval, so you have to import them into the USA yourself.
