cool site Peter! one thing i notice about most aus based companies is they dont like putting prices on their sites. thats the only thing i'd add is prices. saves you having to answer the phone to tell people haha

Great descriptions of products.

Why put prices when there's no online checkout, you have to email/call them anyway. They probably do it this way so they can upsell & fit it for you as well = more profits.

Knight I understand your trepidation, but I can assure you Pete has talked me out of many upgrades, of in his opinion they are of no value. So I'd suggest calling him (he is old school and that's a good thing) and telling him what you want to achieve and he will make an honest recommendation.

Just watch out for Chris he will sell you his mothers panties for a dollar

I paid $1.50 but that was Mrs Little Chris wearing them too. For $2.00 Little Chris would have worn them but I only had $1.50 on me at the time.

if its service oriented it should be set up in such a way that enables the customer to self service, ie. prices. thats the point in technology... its about enabling human potential. like i fancy the oil cooler, but can i be arsed to pick up the phone to find out? nope.

That's a product based marketing approach. And a commoditised one at that. Not the model in play.
