6 speed.
Given this: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=778675 I'd think more than what you suggest, no? I know hes ISO + e85, but hes auto and intake/tune only. but I have 6 speed, catless dp, and a charge pipe (i know doesnt amount to much) that having been said "auto + ISO jb4 + e85 = +20rwhp/~+50rwtq > 4" dp, jb4, cpe cp, 6 spd and 93? you may be right.... I will be switching to ISO and probably e85 soon, so this should be interesting. |

geared--How'd she do? Probably not the best day for a dyno. Humidity was off the charts. Almost felt like summertime. I suspect you have a 2-3% correction factor for the humidity alone.

mustang dyno (a very ego-robbing one from what I was told/based on other numbers from other cars).....only put down 300/314....somewhat disappointing.
RnmEvo9 - I'd love to meet up, and let you drive my car....see if you think I have an issue. Logs look good according to Terry. |

Gooby Pls.

Dont be discouraged, its the delta that matters...dyno to dyno youll get vastly different results, ive seen dyno logs of stock n55s making as low as 230whp depending on the conditions. Depending on how many pulls you did id imagine the OE intercooler got totally heatsoaked as well.

300 on a mustang is probably close 350 on a dynojet and ~400 horses at the crank. I'd say a pickup of 100 crank horses is pretty decent for a tune and downpipes on an N55. Did you do a baseline? That and the strip will give more details.

Ah, cool. Still, I don't think the numbers are anything to get disheartened over. Look forward to seeing a drag strip run

We will definitely meet up in the near future. Can you feel a big difference with all the mods you have done compared to stock? If so, I wouldn't fret over what that dyno read especially without a baseline.

Those number are right on... you can see my set up in my sig. I dyno'd a few weeks ago on a dynojet, and I put down 352 to the rear wheels while running 93.
Hoping to bump up to the ISO board soon enough and get some E85 mix going on, and try it again.

same here...i just did the ISO.
I am doing e-85 this week. What mix will you run? you think the air scoops do anything for you? Let me know....I have the BMS....I was thinking of adding air scoops.... part of me is considering removing the BMS intake all together, as supposedly the BMW design has alot of $$$ into its r&d.....and the closed box is probably a better setup once the car reaches temperature. |

I was thinking the same thing about the intake, it sounds great, and I am sure it helps at times, but when it comes down to crunch time, I think that the closed box helps a lot. I think the scoops help a bit, with the fan blowing in the grill, but I'm not sure how much it really did. I got them for driving on the autobahn, helping with the air flow, but I think they would assist the closed box a lot more. But also, got them for looks, painted them space gray, they really accent the front well I got the cyba scoops, couldn't beat the deal.As far as the mix, right now I think I am going to keep running the 93 or 102 octane here in germany and not switch over to the flex fuel wiring just yet. E85 is really really hard to come by here, and when you do find it, it isn't cheap. So due to that fact, I am going to keep it simple and just run the ISO board once all the official info comes out as far as firmware, and all the supporting info.
