Congrats. Beautiful car that I'm sure you will enjoy. There are lots of other iS guys in the fourm. In fact there's a whole thread dedicated to everyone sharing their deliver pics of their 2013 135is. Look in the coupe convertible general discussion section. It's in there started by mb135is

+1 a modest drop would do wonders for it. Great platform to start on though, enjoy your car OP

Thanks fellas. The car is amazing. Beats my 10' 335i vert I just got rid of. I bought it from Barbara M. I'd consider dropping it but I'm sure coilovers aren't cheap for this thing.

I kept reading is as "is" as in the word "is"

The car looks great though. Youll have fun with the vert!

OP here's a quick and cheap mod you can do, replace the OE antenna with a short version, which is not at all hard to find. Costs maybe 30 bucks shipped, and "installation" is a sub 60 second type deal. IMO the OE unit is ridiculously long, it makes the car look much better from behind.

The shark fin is for verts with sat radio and/or BMW assist.

Its just a separate sat antenna - standard since the start of the car.

Short antenna

I 100% agree I need the shorter antenna. Does anyone have feedback on how well it's reception is? I have Sirius and I don't really want to compromise reception much.

I have not noticed any issues with reception with my IS and the satellite radio.

Yes, the Performance Exhaust is standard with the IS.

Valid point and one that I really didn't think about when I replaced mine, I never listen to the radio so it was irrelevant to me how much a shorter antenna compromised reception...I'll do a bit of testing tomorrow and get back to you. Don't have sirius though, but we'll see how FM/AM work out.

Sirius goes through the shark fin on verts. Only am/fm is picked up through the whip.
