A little while back i posted about go pro positions and sound quality.

Anyway, got around to getting a microphone - Audio Technica Pro 24CM, and it seems to do a pretty nice job.

That looks like a great solution!

What is that mount you are using?
Did you get the mic off EBay or did you get it from a local store?

The sound in your clip is great - I'm totally convinced.

I find the mic on the GoPro to be basically useless so I'd love to get something worked out like you have.

i got mine for $98, looks like they've bumped it up a few dollars.

re the mount, not sure where to get it from to tell you the truth. One of the other forum members here organised a group buy about 4 years ago from the USA.

I am planning on getting a smaller one though, as that mount is overkill for a mic that weighs not much.

The good ole' 125/128i performance muffler sounds pretty dope when driven with gusto, but then gets pretty drone-y when sedate.

Real problem is that the exhaust note writes cheques that the engine just cant cash.

But definitely a cool solution for external audio.

I know what you mean, but only to some ears. The N54/N55 are lazy engines to my ear.

Very nice setup mate!

The PE on my 135i doesn't sound anything like that

Maybe I need to install the Y-Pipe but been having problems with my turbos and the car's been at the stealers...
