Trying Something New This Winter...

I've gotten very bored with the wheel selection for our cars over the years (oh look, another set of black/silver/gunmetal CSL style wheels!), so this winter I figured I'd try something as new and different to me as possible. I knew that this had the potential to be incredibly tacky, and I KNOW that some on here will still agree that it's absolutely incredibly tacky, but personally the new look is growing on me. Love it or hate it, here's a few pics.

Thanks for looking

I think that this style wheel is also very common too, second to the CSL style of course. A set of 5 or 7 spokes would be truly unique.

I know it's also pretty common, but I'd hope the gold makes it stand out. I keep looking, but have a tough time finding any different wheels that fit our car and actually look decent.

I'm hopefully ordering some special 5 spokes this winter

But to OP; looks good, tires are a little too pokey for my liking but I'm sure it could grow on me as well.

Thanks! My old set of tires actually ripped apart while trying to mount them, they were 205's getting stretched over 7.5" width, so this time I went with 225's to be safe (I know, thinner is better for winter tires). Tires are bushy, and it could use spacers, but for a winter setup I'm pretty happy.

Thanks, and yep! I'm not 100% sure I'll buy them for this winter, because hey it's winter, but it would finish the look...

Haha thanks man. I never got into plastidip, but considering I've actually completely switched wheels for the past 5-6 seasons, I might have to start using it to save money when I'm craving something different. I finally saw it on someone's wheels in person and it doesn't look bad at all.

Thank you! These aren't custom painted, and they're for winter, so I just bought them as is...

Yeah I know. The gold is at least different. There really aren't many nice looking wheel styles for this car. Everything is either CSL, LM, or something butt ugly or boring. Notice how that's already been brought up in this thread.
