Ram 1500 Hemi to this.......

Sold my truck for this

2013 BMW 128i M-sport 6MT

Pretty much loaded with Premium package, Technology Package, and HK sound system
Have 60miles on it now and love it so far!
Sorry for the iPhone pictures, hope to do a nice photoshoot after I wash off all the road salt

A few questions for all you guys, I did try to search a bit but did not come up with that much

I want to install the OEM 261M wheels off the 135i, will I need to do ANY suspension adjustment, wheel alignment (camber, etc), or is it pretty much plug n' play ?

Are there any downsides to the 128i BMW performance brake set, I do not plan to track my car ever so this would be just a very expensive cosmetic modification.

Thanks for this wonderful website and I look forward to learning!

rims and tires will swap without any problems. i run 135i 264's on my 28. Yes the performance brakes will greatly increase stopping power both on and off the track. their increased size makes them helpful on a track since they won't heat up and fade as fast.

AFAIK the bmwp brakes are the same as the 135 brakes, just yellow. Might be able to save a few bucks. Yup, 261M wheels are a direct fit, 264 as well, you can usually find them readily for sale here.

as far as 135i brakes fitting, the front's fit without problems but the rears don't, the 135i has different knuckles and a different handbrake system so that would all need to be swapped to use 135i rear brakes. could save a bunch by getting 135i fronts and performance rears though.

welcome great car!

as stated directly above, the 135i rear brakes wont work on the 128i. This is a fact, so you have to get the performance rears.

If i remember, the performance rears are not yellow in color, i think they are OEM gray/black color, so at least you wouldn't have to repaint the fronts to match it!

I should have! That car has been sitting on the lot for the past 1.5 months, apparently my SA said people come and love the Fire Orange, then ask to order the car in silver or white.

My girlfriend bought a grey, 2013 128i automatic convertible. It looks even better than your coupe (at least to us convertible lovers). Interestingly, her other vehicle is a full sized crew cab pickup. It's a V8 Tundra, not a Ram but pretty similar.

NICE CAR!

Jim
