Replacing "powered by BMW M" decal

I took my "powered by BMW M" decal off my 1M engine cover so I could paint the cover and I kind of messed up the decal. Does anyone know how can I order another? Any part numbers as I couldn't find it on realoem.

Thanks in advance.

Looks ok to me. Just use some glue...

Though if it is really messed you can not order separate sticker.

Also if you did not used heat resistant paint the cover color will change also...

Ah, leave it off of there and keep it looking clean the way it is.

Also, I am pretty sure I just saw the front end of your 1M on an AFN commercial about keeping identifying stickers off of our cars. am I right?

I thought about that....keep it clean...

Yeah...gotta get my car into commercials here and there...hopefully in March AFN will do a Europass show on us driving at Spa, and that will be some good exposure if I ever need to sell it.

Had the same issue with mine cause the stickers really thick, I managed to roll it out straight and re-use it, just use high temp adhesive. BMW do not sell the emblem separately

Thought so! I'll be back in Germany this fall. Will be taking Sixt rental cars to the 'Ring unfortunately. The BMW is on the boat crossing the Atlantic as we speak!

How did the shipping process go? You should start a thread about the trials and tribulations of shipping a BMW through the home shipping program...all of us will deal that that issue at one point.

You can't really see the buckle as it's a bad photo but if I'm super careful I might be able to bend it back...I think there will always be a crease though...figured is was just as easy to buy another one but that doesn't seem to be so easy...

Are you putting it back on the "correct" way or the stock way?

Interesting that you ask because I was originally going to mask this off but decided to take off instead so I could attach it the "correct" way...but the glue was so thick and strong that I ended up bending the metal decal...when I reapply, it will be the correct way

You have to remove with fishing line. It might take a while but keep sawing away. You can order from Tischer. part # 11127845442 $95 for the whole new valve cover and decal. Only way you can order it.

I think you should remove all M badges from car at once. It is no longer a M car.

Also I did try putting it the other way round(the right way!) but the sticker is slightly curve to go one way.. Doesn't look even. So I left it the other way
