Buying a second hand brake , what should i look up for？

hi all

i am looking a second hand brembo GTR brake set for m3. i am believe it is a direct swap to my 1M . is there any thing in particular should i looking for? for example if is not founctional, uneven surface etc etc?

the hope the seller will allow me to bring it into an garage for a trial, but if not i can only trust my eyes.

btw, is there an easy way to spot the fake brake(or replica?) have heard that it is quirt common in my area so worth to ask

Looks for obvious signs of fluid leaks, cracked piston dust boots/seals, overheating of pads and cracks in the rotors.
