Agree with all of the above, maybe it was because i had the money in my pocket and did not win the trip Either way the original 12 sure had the trip of a lifetime and who knows maybe some of us will be lucky next time

I also got no invite i am proberly the only one in the world who bought two of them and my Youtube BMW movies go all over the world at BMW Forums/internet but that doesn t help either

I never have seen the bmw factory nor BMW Motorsport headquarters. Only got invited by bmw dealers who paid mega money for VIP tickets at DTM and Lemans. But nothing from BMW!!!

Maybe it s about time for something else.

I remember being livid that I didnt win...then they wouldnt give me a 1M allocation...all told it was a depressing few months

I never signed up for it because I was sure I probably wouldn't win, and if I had I knew I would want the car something bad and the timing for that just wasn't right.

So now more than 2 years later here I am with this special car anyway, kicking myself that I didn't enter the contest.

If nothing else those jackets the winners got are boss.

Are they available on-line anywhere, or were they just for the contest winners and M elite employees?

The jackets and vests we received are awesome, and the memories are ones i will treasure for ever along with my euro delivery experience. I haven't seem them elsewhere. It looks like they were custom made for the event for the 12 and the group of engineers and photographers that were there.



As far as entering the contest, one of the 12 encouraged his flat mate to enter and that person didn't enter, and of course he was extremely disappointed with himself.

I lost count how much money i have brought at BMW and ///M. With my Youtube channel i have lots BMW enthusiasts watching everyday!!! It would be nice to see something back from BMW. But i quess thats not how it works. I have Contacted BMW M and also Schubert Motorsport what kind of possibility s there are for racing/testing for BMW i got the answer we won t forget you at M we watching youre movies also. Now they don t even respond!!! A longtime i was dissapointed about it. But i have let the dream go.

I was very close to getting one myself. The problem was that my allocation came up late in the year and I was also under contract on a house. It's never a good idea to take out other loans and affect your credit score before the deal on the house is done and the paperwork is all signed. Ultimately, the house had to win out, though I do sometimes regret net getting the 1M. I suppose I could of bought the car and waited on the house, but the home prices in my area have recovered a bit so I would have ended up paying more on a house had I waited. On the plus side, my 135 has been paid off for a while now and it is so nice not having a car payment.
