Haha what were you afraid of man. Just how different it would look and if it would blend well with the mirrors and such? I can understand as BWM is a color you don't see very often so it's hard to imagine. Especially with coral interior as you and I have. But I understand. I felt the same about ordering my alpine white interior trim and then wished I didn't until I saw it in person. Now I'm so glad I did as its stunning in person and not very common by far. I was however to chicken shit to order oyster interior for the fear of it getting to dirty and not looking good up against alpine white exterior sense it's pure white and oyster Isent. Still wish I had sometimes though. BTW took my car in to have the oil changed after break in. Maybe it's a placebo in our heads but I feel mine is smoother now also. I didn't have the diff or tranny fluid changed like you though. It was hard enough just co communicate to them that I wanted the oil changed but not to reset the service indicator lol. If I spoke the language I could have gotten it accross better but oh well.

It really is an amazing color, and the picture captures it fairly well, but most pictures don't do it any justice compared to how it actually looks. |

Just curious here, but when I bought my 2008 135i M-Sport. I took the key and ownership to the dealer to get a complete maintenance history check done. When I got the paperwork, on the top of the print-out page it says 2008 135iS Vin# etc. etc.
Does that make my car a 135iS ??

Thanks - can't wait for it to arrive! The 800 number now says my vehicle is in production with estimated completion of Feb 4. Hopefully it will make it onto a ship by mid Feb and arrive at the Brunswick VDC by early March. I'm thinking now I might see it at my dealer by late March.

But, I quite like the fact that I seem to have the only 135 in that combo

On a side note to all, feels like postings are down as I haven't seen hardly any new posts in the threads I'm subscribed to...perhaps Winter Storm Nemo had everyone in the north-east states offline. |

If we end up on the same ship, you will have a few days advantage as the ship unloads at your VDC first. Last edited by eywflyer; 02-13-2013 at 10:29 PM.. |

Thanks! I like the CF5s but frankly am questioning the color combo on them.

Great photos posted here, can't wait to add my Deep Sea Blue coupe to the list! Will try to get some good close-ups of the blue stitching as well. My 135is order is still sitting in Bremerhaven, hopefully it gets on the "Mignon" which calls there Tuesday and arrives Brunswick March 11.
Was looking at 1 series sales numbers at this site: http://www.goodcarbadcar.net/2011/01...s-figures.html and wondering how many total 135is cars will be built, particularly if this model is available only for MY 2013. Now obviously the 135is is not anywhere near the "special" level of the 1 series M (740 of those exported to the U.S.), but it would still be interesting to know what the number ends up being.
