Red interior - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

Found a local salvage yard that has a 08 135i with red interior.

Looking into buying it, what do you guys think is a good price or what would you pay for it? its in mint condition, well taken care of and very clean.

Hmmmm good question. I have no idea what a whole interior goes for. How many miles is in it? Looks good tho. If its mouthing you want better jump on it though. That's a rareity to find in a salvage yard I bet.

its only seats, door panels and rear quarter panel trims that are red. everything else is black as my interior.

Surprised that pass side airbag didn't pop. Might want to look at that before to make its good

seat bags are good, its weird that curtain bags popped and seats didnt. so what yall think? money wise?

Does you car come with the rear folding seats already? Gotta make sure that part matches as well.

That's creepy though, minus the auto trans that matches my interior and exterior (looks like the car is Space Grey) to a T.

Keep in mind u might be able to sell yours so the diff might not be huge all said and done

Haha I know what parts are red. I have coral interior lol. But still you basically need the whole interior minus dash headliner etc. well I usually see people selling sets of front seats for between 800 and 1000 usually when they are in good condition so maybe for the rear seats and doors and quarter panels also maybe 2k for everything? But offer them like 1500 first and see what they say. Maybe they don't care much

If its a pick-and-carry place, you should be able to snag them cheap. If you flashed >$500 to them and you come and get it all out, they won't pass that up.

Agree-they would want 2k, but try and get the whole gut at that price, interior panels, carpets console etc. The parts you do not need can be readily resold. Take care on disasembly - if you let them do it you will have more broken tabs and such.

this is a legit place and they know their prices pretty good, i did business with them before and they keep their prices up in the sky.

I am probably not bold enough to get red. However red does not seam quite rare or unique anymore. They are sharp seats, nevertheless, with a dynamic contrast if coupled with the right exterior colour such as Alpine White.

Off-topic, but I believe the 1er used to come with manual seats. I would prefer manual for less electronics/weight-saving.

there isnt that much weight savings in manual vs electronic, 40 pounds maybe 50? i dont think that makes a difference.
