My Father in law goes to all them drags, got a Monte Carlo pushing ungodly amounts of HP. We were putting a halo in his roll cage earlier.

Returning to the Columbus area by the end of next week. Car will go in to BMW of Columbus for turbo replacement, followed by a stint of cruises.

I miss that car...

I was just looking there myself. Never done autocross either. I'll put some thought into going let me know if your up to it.

I actually got the car out of the dealership maybe three weeks ago.
-When i got home from deployment, my control unit to my navi and entertainment system was dead, it just kept rebooting itself

long story short, i am out of warranty and was about to pay 2500 bucks. one call to BMW of NA got a representative looking at my case and them covering more than half of it based on good will!

as far as my turbos go: it still rattles like hell, but they claim nothing is wrong

What is everyone up to these days?

I have never done autocross myself, but I heard its a lot of fun. For first timer's, i think the entry fee is only $20. I am definitely down for it and I hope to see you guys out there.

iStig, i hope you can come out to the autocross event as well.

I would love to come out and spectate the next one. I have owned the car for roughly 8 months now and would love to get into autox.

edit: I just saw the registration page. I would love to enter and compete, but I am heading to Texas for a civilian-run sniper school this coming month. Unsure of the dates so expect me to pass you guys updates!

Yes sir, the next one is on Feb. 17th. If you can't make it this month, hope you can make it to the next one. There is one autox session every month!

Not much going on down here. Looking at buying some upgrades for my Halo's from Burger. Was going to go up to the solo/autoX but its not in the cards this weekend. Got an Algebra test and a Lit essay I need to do. I've got an E9x sway I need to install someday also.
I did a sniper training through a civilian Police force way back when I was an Air Force cop, loads of fun.
