Anyone else have Boston Lemon Leather?
Most people just say it's white. I never really see anyone with it. I love the look....but I clean it...alllll the time.

There are a few with it but its not very common due to the higher maintenance.

Back in the 70s my dad had white leather seats in his car. The back of the seats made a perfect canvas for a couple of kids with a box of crayons.
I think it looks good but I can't imagine the steps you must go through to keep it clean. |

I love the look. Even debated long and hard to get oyster interior or not (now that it's the only light one Avaliable and not lemon anymore). I decided against it because my car is white and I thought with it being off white it may just look dingy against the exterior. Also because I wear jeans quite often which the dye can transfer over time and my dog rides with me quite a bit. But I love the look. Still wish today I had been brave enough to go with it

Lemon owner and lover here. As a matter of fact, i couldnt imagine my car without it. Definitely sets our cars apart and really isn't any more maintenence than any other color if you intend to keep your seats top shape. Enjoy and maintain 'em!

Do not wear new jeans with that leather. Went to the car show and the BMW on the floor with that interior had a nice blue tint from all the folks sliding in and out from behind the wheel....

I wanted to get Lemon. I love the contrast of light and dark. I will never have another car with LIGHT COLORED floors. Talk about maintenance. Couldn't find one and didn't want to order and wait.

I thought Lemon was no longer available and instead there is now Oyster which from what I can tell, is more white and less yellow than Lemon.
There is also Savannah Beige for that classical beige look. I like this one. |

OMG where were these pics when I was ordering my car. I just wanted to see a pic of oyster or lemon with alpine white to see the contrast to make sure the pure white exterior wouldn't make the interior look like egg yoke. I love it. Man wishing I had seen these pics before I bought my car. Deff would have ordered oyster. I love my coral though.

My space gray has the lemon interior......I so love the contrast. Yes it gets dirty easily but I am not that anal and since it is my DD to work I just throw a towel on the seat and remove it on the weekends.
I originally was looking at my 128 and at a C300 that had a black interier with off white accents.....quite nice. |

I've got LMB with oyster. I keep a leather care kit in the trunk and wipe the seats down weekly or so. It's amazing! Definitely some work, but who doesn't like working on their car??

I have a Lemans blue with lemon vert. Definitely a yellow color but I can see why folks would mistake it.
I rarely wear jeans, but my belt does stain the seat. I found a perfect match for the color in the towel section at Kmart. I usually keep the towel on my seat. Works perfect and is also nice of I'm sweaty from the gym. My only issue is that recently a squeak has popped up at where the outboard adjustments are. The leather runs the plastic there under some conditions and squeaks. I'm hoping that using some cleaner will also "lube" the rub spot. You can see the discoloration line here: |
