Trying to find - 08 135i, manual, no idrive with Cobb - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

I'm looking for someone who's got the equivalent car to mine.

2008, 135i, base with sport package only, manual tranny, who's got Cobb installed and has the latest firmware from BMW installed.

I need a copy of your base rom. If someones got the above, I can direct you how to extract it...only takes a minute.

Can someone help me? Trying to avoid a trip to the dealer for a reflash.

No electronic options I guess... No blue tooth, navigation, alarm, comfort access, etc.

Sport package doesn't add anything like that.

It's just that I thought the ROM had nothing to do with those options as the Cobb only fiddles with the engine map. I mean, you only download a generic map for your ECU, it doesn't take into account what options you have.

DME should only control motor related things. Those other options are controlled through other electronics.

Awesome! Here's what you do...

Power the AP and go to the AccessPORT -> About screen.
Select "Expose ECU Data"
Pull the ROM file off the AP using AP manager
Email it to me, sschreit at gmail.com

Thanks man, appreciate it a ton.

Dealer wants ~280 to reflash the car.

It should have all the latest updates, I just had the car in a couple of weeks ago and made sure I was running the latest software.
