Slime tyre repair kits
About to swap out my run flats for non-run flats.
After reading up, it looks like the best repair kits if you get a flat is, Slime. Can someone advise me which kit to buy. I don't plan on fixing it totally just enough to get me to the local tyre shop or around town for a week before a proper fix. http://slime.com.au/shop/category/pr.../smart-spairs/ Second question. Do these trash the inside of the tyre so it cant get refixed? Thanks! |

I'm looking at a RFT delete fairly soon and as such have this kit:
http://slime.com.au/shop/power-spair...air-kit-70004/ http://www.amazon.com/Slime-70004-Po...rds=slime+tire The benefit of this kit over the BMW one is that the Goo is water soluble and can be cleaned off both the tyre and the RIM by the repair place. Has my vote. |

BMW and Slime claim that both are water soluble and won't damage the TPMS.
If I recall correctly, the Continental kit should not be used for wheels with TPMS...

Unless they have changed things, my Mobility kit is not water soluble.
