AR downpipes
Hi guys, just wondering, is our downpipes similar to the N54 335I? and also, is it ok to install a 2yr old used AR downpipe into our car from the 335i?
Your thoughts appreciated! ![]() |

hey guys, just installed the AR downpipes. there seem to be quite noticable power loss at low end. high end doesn't really pull v well as well. is that because i haven't input the stage 3 tuning?

What i heard is that catless downpipes should be combined with a engine tune which may explain your problem. Good luck with the hunt for HP & Torque ![]()

thank you! well i guess the car needed a few days to run in i guess. hahas had a drag race with my friend's M3 (which i always do whenever i or him do something new to the car) and he said that in 3rd gear, 1M walked over him. ![]() But comparing with another 1M in sg with full akra (downpipes + EVO), at idle my car seems softer... normal? or due to the fact that our downpipes are bigger=less compact/bassy sound? |
