I put mine in at a lift in Allston for $50/2hrs access. I did mine in 1hr flat. If you want a hand, let me know and I could give you a hand some weekend if you want a DIY.

For sure! I am decently handy but hesitant when it comes to my car...more afraid I'm going to screw something up than do any good...where in Allston?

You will get more gains with an aftermarket IC because there will be less knock when you start to tune car.

had TMS do it...they did it in just over an hour...the active autowerke charge pipe i have is now a little lower and closer to the drive belt...it shouldnt move but just something to note when guys do theirs...also the boot on the right side of the IC is very close to the lip of the tubing...but we did a bunch of runs up to the redline and maxed out the boost PSI and no leaks...it also fits very well as a direct fit replacement so i guess all is well!

i dunno if i notice any real difference...every time I add a mod, my revs always bounce up and down at idle and go away after a week or so...that being said, i havent really had time to really go WOT with it yet

very true.

I am close to FBO but I want to tune...trying to decide between PROcede or Cobb...

PROcede looks a lot better in a lot of ways...

Cobb hasnt released a AccessPort yet for 2012 N55's...

If Cobb ever gets their shit together to make this happen for you N55 guys I say do it. Then you can go see Bren and he will make magic with your car.

I talked to some sales rep from Cobb a few days ago, he said they have had a N55 in the shop for a while now and are working on it...no ETA for release though

You can always do Jb4 and then sell the thing when it comes out.
I had JB4 on my car when I bought it used from someone in NYC, It was OK, It did not have the mind blowing torque of Cobb AP tuned by Bren.
