Just got mine today from Schmied**** in Denmark! They look great but am a little disappointed that the bulbs are NOT LEDs. At least, not all of them.

Correct- while the running light may be LED, the brake/reverse is not and just uses standard bulbs.

I think I paid like 325$ shipped way back when. Prices may have gone up a little + I had a 20$ customs bill when they arrived..

That seems to be pretty close to the best price right now. For what it's worth, I didn't have to pay any extra customs duties ordering from Schmeidmann. They got here in approx a week. Doesn't get much easier than that.

Installed my blacklines yesterday and I couldn't be happier. They look so mean on TiAg! I'll post some pics soon.

Just finished installing my blacklines and they look great. Easy install also. Ordered from schmiedmann on Wednesday and got them Monday morning! Crazy how fast they can ship stuff overseas. Didn't have to pay any customs bill either. Just had to fill out a form that fedex sent me.

I am interested in upgrading my taillights on my 2009 BMW 128i Convertible with non adaptive halogen headlights, i heard that there is a xenon version of the black-line from http://www.schmiedmann.com, and a halogen version that is not compatible with the 2008-2011 non xenon and adaptive 1ers. What i wanted to know has this technology changed can i use the halogen's now? or do i have to get the xenons? Which one is better?

I have halogens on my 2008 car, Bought the Xenon Blackline kit ####282 Worked without any problems, and thsiis the kit you should save up for.

The Halogen version of Blackline is perhaps only for 2012 128i. They dont seem to work 100% because on 2008-2011 the cars came with the LED activated.
