Is this the same leather of the factory handle, can't tell from the photo? And the M lettering, is it cloth over the leather?

The M lettering doesn't look very well done to me from this photo considering it is original BMW part and for that price.

It's just the angle of the photo. The e-brake handle looks perfect in person. It comes in black leather.

Andrew, could you dye the white letters on top of lever in kyalami orange like the interior stitchings and for how much extra?

We'll find out how difficult next Monday. I'll report back when it is done together with CDV delete and brake fluid flush works at my indie shop.

I dyed the white "MPower" part in orange myself with a quality textile marker that I found here for 2 Dollars. I'll post the pictures of old vs new look. I really like the look, hoping it adds some color and a last touch for me concerning car's interior.

Installation tricks (if any) and installed pictures coming after Monday, but I have these ready now.

Question, shall I do the side stitchings in orange as well?

Never thought doing that before, came to my mind while resizing the pictures in the computer,
will it complete the look or ruin it?
Also, cause those are black and tiny can be very difficult to do unlike the white MPower part.
EDIT: Nevermind, my wife told me that orange dye on black will end up looking like shyt (literally)!
Guess she is right, plus on the marker says "use just on cloth not synthetical material",
I am sure the sides are not cloth.

Below are the installed pictures, did it today, as you can see it is not a perfect match to stitching but neither is the steering wheel or interior trims&stitching vs VO exterior paint. In person, it looks and feels infinitely better than stock and like I wished for, it gives some much needed color to the interior.

Install tips: None serious really, pull the old one off and put the other one back on. Of course, the lever must be up position while doing these. You may need to take out the alcantara boot which needs some finger searching around the boot where it meets with the plastic consol but it comes out easy and gets in even easier, kind of like the side marker unit, like that boot also has clips holding it in place inside.

Be careful about not making left-right movements while taking out the old one and putting the new, you must use force in a very linear fashion in order not to break the plastic clips inside the lever. Old and new are identical inside. You will need strong hands and a good deal of force which means that DO NOT PUNCH YOURSELF IN THE FACE or smash your dashboard! Use common sense all the time

Couldn't take any pictures during install process but I have a few installed:
