Nice...!

I suppose all those scratches are from the dealer prep?

Not the kind of dealer prep one would expect... Especially for a $40K ($50K?) car.

Those new GS are much closer to $60K+, not a cheap automobile...Amazing how for the most part, dealers "cleaning" your car=scratches and swirls everywhere. Oh well, that paint looks beautiful after you guys worked your magic.

Awesome Job! Love the 50/50 shots. I notice there were white spots that look like chips in the paint in the 50/50 pics? Whats the time frame doing a job like that with the rotary and how long would it take if opted for a DA buffer?

General question: When you remove the swirl scratches, you are essentially removing some of the clear coat, right? How many times can you polish off the swirls before you reach the color layer?

yes you will be leveling off the paint, by doing it with an orbital polisher you should be okay.

we measure paint before and after we do cars I would say it would all depend on the start and finish of each job,

I woud not polish a car with less than 75 microns.

Most new cars have between 90-150 microns.

Thanks! About how many microns do you cut down during one polish?
