Yep, very happy with it. Also, very unhappy they decided not to make the hood for our cars. I waited over 6 months for them to make one, but they decided against it. I'm going to wait until the Spring now, and probably get the Seibon one with the hump.

I've looked at the rear of the car on cold mornings, and I'd say about 55% comes out the driver's side pipes, while 45% comes out the passenger's side. It's VERY close. As well, the inside of the pipes are discoloring identically, so you don't have two dirty pipes and two clean pipes. Also please note, I've painted my setup with black BBQ paint. It doesn't come in this color.

I got all the parts for the exhaust already but wont be doing it until I get my DP's and intake/cooler aswell so I will be finishing mine by the second week of january (hopefully it doesn't take more then 2 days to do the whole lot)

I will be going from a completely stock car to FBO, M3 Parts and 1M exhaust with Hartge diffuser so should be a nice transformation

the left side of the exhaust is the most functional...doesnt the additional 2 pipes do nothing but add a small amount of exhaust release and just add a ton of weight?

you need a Y pipe from the mids to split to the two tips to really have a dramatic noise and exhaust effect...am I wrong?

Both venom and myself are doing this. Both should be done in a few weeks. From having all of the parts on hand and examining them vs the 1M ones all should fit up with the parts below. The total for the parts will be around $400-500ish. I dont have my price sheets on me. they will line up with the 135i rear bumper but you will need a custom diffuser.

1M Parts you need:
Battery Tray
Heat Shielding
Rear Bumper Support bar ( has exhaust hangars)
Exhaust hangar rubber (3X)
3X evaporation Canister hoses w/ connectors
1M style Exhaust

Man I am still waiting for my 135 to come in and this is like the first mod I would want to do. I have always loved the M setup on the exhaust and hate that the 1 series doesnt even have the dual split pipes like the 3 series. It feels unbalanced to me. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

Subscribed for sure to see the results.

what part is the 1m battery tray trim thing? i'm having trouble finding it

what process is involved in relocating the battery though?

also, i've been looking for a photo of it for LITERALLY months now, can someone post up a pic? even of a stock 1m

Below are parts diagrams with annotations to what you need to get 1M exhaust to fit on a 135i. Most of this info was accumulated by Venon and I's trial and errors and until the exhausts are actually on our cars (mine is being fitted now) this information is subject to change.

The battery tray relocates the evaporation canister to the side to allow room for the exhaust. This relocation requires different evaporation canister hoses and longer battery cables. These items will also need to be purchased to make this mod.

The 1M exhaust hangers despite not being in the photo diagram are located on the 1M rear bumper carrier.

I hope some of this information answers some of your questions and clears up some of the speculation.
