Some (cold) Nürburgring pics from last Wed.

It was very cold, 0°C and windy, but the track was dry.
Still some snow on the borders.
Did 6 laps this time, 17 overall.
9'06" BTG, not awesome I know but keep on working to get the good lines and be faster in some sections.....

I'm running on PSS, have Textar pads & ATE superblue liquid, and recently added N55mid. That's all, for now.

This place is magic.

Lovely! Car looks like it was freshly waxed? Reminds me I should do that as soon as the pollen season passes!

Nice pics LuuZ!!!
Those kidney grills really match your car!!
Like them much more than 1M's OEM.
Considering this mod.... wondering how they will match an AW car.

Cheers!!

Please elaborate. Luuz will correct me if I'm wrong, but to me it looks like his 1M features the OEM chrome/plastic kidney grilles every 1M got during production. True that many retrofit black or CF kidney grilles. But funny that OEM chrome/plastic kidney grilles become such a rare sight in some areas that people start to think that it's a special mod.

I can see from the pics that LuuZ might have changed his grilles with the 135i ones that are different from the OEM 1M ones.
The 135i grilles come fully chromed with chrome slots (vertical inner parts of the grilles). The 1M only come with chrome grilles surroundings and black slots.
I had a 135 and now own a 1M.... and I've always thought this was a worthy upgrade.

Thx for your replies.

My car has just been decontaminate with clay because winter was hard this year, the touch is sweet as a baby ass right now
It gets some quick wax spray by the same way.

Otherwise, you're right with my front grills, they're not oem, I ordered them to match the windows Chrome Line.

Now I see what you mean. Interesting. Indeed suitable for the silver trim ("Chrome Line"), which is rarely seen, as most opt for the high gloss shadow line ("Hochglanz Shadow Line").

Some more pix from this Wed 10th, this time rainy and slippery.
Did 3 laps, and went for 1 session on the F1 GP Track.
