May be, may be not. After a while, I forgotten that my head is resting on the door frame whenever I turn. Until I remembered that it might do my neck any good if there's a rollover.

Maybe you guys should give the performance seats a go? I know there is a lower mounting setting for them... Electric seats are great but I don't think I've adjusted my seats more than 2 or 3 times.

I had a good look today and play with the settings, and it really doesn't look like the seat can physically go any lower. I remembered my 318i used to be able to set a lot lower. Yes, the magical one fist length and I can only do that with the lowest setting now. I used to need to lift the seat quite high to get that position on the 318i.

Now, with a helmet on, looks like I will have a couple of inches clearance the most. May be I do need to look into a new seat - or learn to seat less upright.

I don't think the seats can be adjusted. To get lower, adjust the front to tip down/forward, then lower the seat.

Thanks alik01 for sending through the seat pics - so definitely very similar in height. So, I will just put it down to my seating angle.

May be a new seat and roll cage is in order...
