Vibration from Berk mids on cross brace

I just put on BMS DPs and Berk mids on my 1M yesterday and have noticed that there is a vibration or knocking at idle. I looked underneath and it appears that the mids are hitting the steel cross brace just behind the resonators. Anyone else have this problem? Ideas on a fix?

Yes same exact issue...exhaust shop can fix with custom Mounts or mods to hangars etc

Thanks. I'm thinking about wrapping the affected area on the mids with fiberglass to get rid of the vibration.

I have do not have this issue. But I do not have a 1m - though I think the exhaust is the same. You should probably try get it fixed vs. wrapping; likely is causing unnecessary stress on the exhaust.

When I had my 370z with Berk test pipes (catless pipes) multiple people noticed they stuck out a bit causing the mids to be pushed down on to the cross bar... What we did was use metal spacers or have an exhaust shop bend/ push the mids up .. Then some users put car on jack at the rear insert something under the mids, then drop the jacks down slowely letting the object(ex. cement block wrapped in cloth) push the mids up some and bend exhaust some

The instructions from Berk say it will vibrate if you do not make sure its up and tightened. It's not something that simple?

I had a similar problem with my 135, I had a hanger that bent in shipping. If I remember right there isn't a hanger in the mid pipes. I'm not familiar with the 1m exhaust but you can see if you can play with the hangers to get the mid pipes up. You could also get
Some washers to bring the brace down

The two stock hangers on the 135 are adjustable you have to loosen them off and push up on exhaust and re tighten clamps This lifts mid pipes from cross brace to allow for clearance. Just installed mine with no issues. It is close to cross brace but does not rattle on it. I think the 1m should be identical underneath
