17x8.5 ET40 Square Setup?

Hi guys, looking to replace my wheels as rough Philly roads cracked my passenger side wheel. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Looking at APEX Arc 8 wheels 17x8.5 ET40
on all four corners. What tire sizes should I be running? I was thinking of
245/40/17.. I'm on stock suspension and will not be lowering my car ever..

or running a 17x9 ET42 on the rears with 265/35/17

I've been searching through the forum but not too many people running 17s

So basically, you're going to run into fender rubbing problems on the front wheels without fender rolling/camber plates since it will be sticking out about 22 mm further than the stock 215/40R18 tires on the 18x7.5 ET 49 wheels... Aside from that, I don't see much of a issue with the square 17x8.5 with 245/40/R17 arc-8s.

I would check with Apex directly and find out what you can exactly fit under the front wheel well. I have seen guys run as big as 18x9 in there with the right offset and 235/40 or 245/35 wheels.

And that is with no severe mods to the fender.

Feel free to ask any questions.

I run 17x8.5 ET40 squared on 245/40 Hankook RS3s (essentially a 255 tire on any typical "summer" tire)

This is what it will look like on OE Suspension and camber:

And this is when you get camber:

Running 5mm spacer up front at -3.6* camber. Front and rear fenders rolled

Man... that tire wear must be terrible on the front if you're running it at -3.6 normally...

Not really, toe is your wear factor...not camber.

There is some wear associated with camber but not to the extent of toe

I have my camber set at -3.6*

I don't change it, the wheel wouldn't fit underneath the fender without the camber

Same will still apply, the wheel will stick outside of the fender.
