DIFF lock down bracket, no more wheel hop
I designed a diff lock down bracket that is VERY strong and easy to install. It's a bolt in with a nut plate for where you have to bolt it to the sub frame (I'm doing that to ease the installation). These are made to order and will take less than three days to fab up as I will be doing this in my spare time. If you want one, please send me a PM and I will respond with my paypal address. This is for the small pumpkin (Auto) and the Large pumpkin as well....... This will fit both the coupe and convertible. On rare occasions some cars may require some modification to the bracket or subframe (drilling new holes) so keep this in mind. If your not mechanically inclined or don't have the tools, don't buy it or have a pro install it. I'm sure you will like it! I took my E88 out for a ride after the install and did some burnouts, donuts and overall beat on it. No additional noise or wine at all and the best part, NO MORE WHEEL HOP!! I must stress if your rear suspension has been changed from stock that moved the pumpkin down or up in location, you will need to modify this bracket. Also at times the subframe holes may not line up so you will need to drill new holes. If you have any fitment issues please take a picture and email it to me so I can see the problem. Not every car is exactly the same and the pre-drilled holes in the subframe WILL vary a bit from car to car but I try to design the bracket to take into account for some variations. If anything happens to it, weld comes apart or anything, send it back and I will fix it for free for the first 2 years. All TIG welded. The small gussets shown are no longer used. Interesting work man, was that burnout with the stock open e-diff or you have a LSD? And how involved is in the installation (do I have to drop the subframe etc.) or is it simple bolt on? Thanks
EDIT: Doh, just saw the first line where it indicates the installation, so straight forward bolt on install yeah?

Nope, I did not have a E-Diff, that was swapped out for a real posi. The install is simple, no need to drop the sub frame, its a simple bolt in.

In the near future I'll be going in for shoulder surgery so, anyone who wants a bracket, please keep this in mind. From what it looks like now, I'll be unable to make any starting Mid November for about 6 weeks.

Not at all, I beat the hell out of mine with no problems and there are close to 50 units out there right now with zero issues.
