What is the weight on these carbon fiber diffusers are they lighter than the OEM plastic ones?

Little late to the party - all of these seem to say "m-tech" perhaps that is why some may have to do some slight modifications and some may not. I'm not sure about this, and am more interested in finding out if anyone can comment on if they do not have the "m-tech" OEM parts and was still able to put on the diffuser from either JCSportline or 3A Motors?

When you see the description that says "only for M-Tech cars" or similar, it means that they will only fit cars that have the body kit that is standard with the sport package. It's really just a misuse of the word term "M-Tech" when they should be saying "sport pack".

This is the rear bumper of a car that has the sport package or "M-Tech". Notice the grey plastic in the bumper.

This is what the standard bumper looks like if it doesn't have the sport pack fitted. Notice the lack of diffuser.

These aftermarket diffusers replace the plastic "diffuser" in the Sport or "M-Tech" bumper. As there is no diffuser to replace in the standard (non-sport) bumper, they are not compatible with them.

The reason that some people need to modify them is because they're cheap, poorly-made parts that don't fit well. Often, a lot of the tabs or the screw holes won't line up with the corresponding points in the bumper.
