Talked to my salesman, and I will be the first to get a 1-series at the dealership. This is a very large dealership in the Chicagoland Area.

So far it's a 135i, hopefully Sedona Red.

Did they ask for a deposit? I would love to get myself on a list but Im not thrilled about the idea of a deposit.

I have bought many BMW's from the same guy. He did not ask me for a deposit.

If u bought a lot of cars from him, I'd shoot for $1000 under msrp..

He has always been fair with pricing. We'll have to see how hot this number becomes.

He also told me that he has seen/sat in the car while at a BMW meeting in Naples, Florida. He said that BMW will start selling after market turbo, brake, etc upgrades right at the dealerships. Bye bye Dinan??

The 135i he saw had Brembo brakes on it.

He thinks that it is part of the sport pkg.

It would be nice if you could order Brembos when the car is built, otherwise you are buying brakes twice on a new car.

I contacted one dealer where I live and they just added me to some contact list. Not interested in me unless I was going to buy something in July.
