Big thumbs up for Schaeffer BMW
Props to Schaeffer BMW in Wilmington, NC for an unexpected excellent experience.
I am sure many of you have had this experience. You go to you local dealer and turns out they suck. An inept mix of arrogance and ignorance of their own product. Then you take a nice drive on a Saturday afternoon with your son or g/f or wife, or all of the above and happen upon the exact opposite at two different car manufacturer's dealers. How nice is that? That was my experience today at the Subaru/Mitsu dealer (drove teh new STI and drooled over the new EVO X) and a BMW dealer to drive the 135i finally. If anyone is in the Wilmington area looking for a BMW drop in and see these guys. Not a big city dealer, but they have nice cars and are terrific to deal with! Ask for CA Gary Morgan.

I went there for a test drive about 2 or 3 weeks ago and they were great but I wonder how they are about negotiating on price. Did you order a 135i? if so, what kind of deal did you get?

They were very fair I thought. In fact the only dealer willing to go under ED MSRP for me that I have spoken with.

Did you get a production number? Did they give you an estimated time frame? Sorry to hassle you with the questions. It's just they are the closest BMW dealer to me and I did have a good experience there but I didnt talk price yet either
