Week 30 Support Group - Page 4 - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

Alright fellow 30ers. I was curious if anyone else had gotten their European Delivery Package. This fine set of material and luggage tags that includes a good amount of information, here are some of the details:

There is a document about hotel deals that they do not pay for (

) but do have preferential rates on a 3-star property and a 4-star property.

Also some tour information and many things you'd find on the website.

A couple things that I think we should all know:
If you need navigation, order in advance for $165 to be shipped here (i think) and bring it there.
the iPod cable must be received here and brought to Europe (if you ordered the iPod package)

and finally:
If you will be there for Oktoberfest (Sept 20-Oct 5) book your rooms NOW.

Our cars are currently displayed at the BMW Museum that is, according to my friend in Leipzig, the marking in front says "These are the last 8 of 08" and "1 of them is the last of "the year 1 of the 1".

My question is, which car got produced July 31? Hah ha ha, MINE...it is my precious.

Fineprint: It is just a fantasy! In our lingo complete BS.

Oh by the way.. Rossmar we are crashers in here. We are week 31 actually!

Yeah, I was told that I was week 30, then told week 31, but my car was finished on 7/24, so week 30 after all, I guess.

I'm so anxious to hit the A8 and speed off towards the mountains :-)

Good going Phil.. me too man, picking up the car on the 6th. then off to Bolzano, a litle of the twisties and pins (Paso d'Stilvio) then to Chianti, Lago Como and Monaco.

All of my money went to the dealer last week. My bank and I are sad because BMW is making all the interest for a month.

AchtungE30: Don't feel bad, there's no week 31 group, and it was a short group anyway.

If wonder if someone who'll be EDing could take pictures of our cars and send them off.

Oh don't take my response as sarcasm or remorse, I'm excited our cars are sitting in a museum (hopefully cannot be touched by patrons). I was also wondering why no one started a Week 31 support group. I guess everyone's got a 1er already and the excitement is over.

Hey guys, you can pay 30 to 7 days before delivery, thats what i am told. Me, its probably next weekend.

Yeah, that sounds fine, I know I'll be in Munich on the 9th, 19th and 20th, but NO idea otherwise. I can't figure out if I want to go to Switzerland or Berlin first.:bangdesk:
