So they don't blink red when you turn? That would be nice.

In other threads, the OEM "blackline" lights are $194.35 (as per Pacific BMW). Am I missing something here?

So are you sure pacific bmw only sells it for $194? Is that each side? If not, count me in on the group buy.

According to the Product Information Training Manual, the smoked tail lights were going to be available at launch. My dealer says he can't order them until Sept.'05...just like everything else. Furthermore, the price listed in the European Accessory Brochure is 199 euros, which equates to only $247.

Roveractive price on ebay for other e90 parts is alot higher than circlebmw. Price for the CF front lips is $450 at Circle and Rover is $650. If they can do $250 shipped for the GB, I pretty sure you can get 10 you need

I asked my dealer a month ago about these taillights. They weren't available yet they said.

And I 'm living in Europe. Dunno.

I have a "continually variable" quote for several items that I have been running with Pacific BMW for the past 3 weeks, and YES.....the blackline taillights are available as a COMPLETE kit (both sides) for $194.35. This is as of Thursday, 9/8.

They will probably take a while to come in, though.

I think $194.35 sounds more reasonable......

but I still wouldn't buy it.

Do I have to call pacific BMW or search on their website? But I noticed that their shipping charges are a bit steep.

$120 steep?? cuz that's the price difference. I found a UK website that had the black line lights and the hartig eyebrow...black line lights were also much cheaper than the 310 price...even with shipping...I'll try and find that site again.

Yes their shipping is a bit steep, but the idea is to buy more accessories, which I am planning on. If you buy them all in one shot, the cost of shipping is negligible.

For the painted spoiler, the taillights, the aluminum pedals & footrest, and the wind deflector, shipping is only $34.50 and all of Pacific's prices are the lowest I could find. $34.50 comes out to less than 6 percent of the total.

ok for alll those who think 310 is not reasonable then go ahead and buy it from pacific bmw. someone mention to me last night that pacific does have it for 194.35. i was like a kid waiting for christmas. i got up early this morning and gave pacific bmw a call. they did have it for 194.35, but its for 1 side. so if you guys think pacific bmw have a better deal, go for it...... i think i will cancel this group buy, i will get it on my own.

I called them too...they told me it was for one KIT...after some time on hold, the kit was for both sides....makes sense, as the BMW kit is both sides...dunno why anyone would call and want to separate into separate sides. Someone who buys a kit from them...PLEASE LET US KNOW THE END RESULT!!!

Why in God's name would BMW make a kit for one side and not tell you which side it was for???

but if they only have one part number for the product then it must mean that it is for both sides.

It makes sense to me that the difference would be that for the headlights, it is a replacement part. For the tail lights, it's an accessory...ie. If you buy the wheel locks, it comes with four..you don't have to specify 4 of them, one for each wheel.
