I have the 135i and love the power.....however it's funny how most people think the 128i is "slow". At 0-60 in less than 6 seconds, it's faster than the old 330i with the ZHP package, the top 3 series below the M3. And that car was considered pretty quick "in it's day" (about 3 years ago lol)

Yeah, it is one of those things that make the 128i already seem like more than enough already compared to the Audi that I have now. I am still up in the air and keep going back and forth about which one. The 128i I see as being the ultimate alternative to the GTI, A3, Volvo C30, whereas the 135i I see in the same league as Caymans, and 370Zs and the opportunity to say no to something on par with a Porsche is hard!

Does it take a painfully light foot and a ton of concentration to keep the 135i from going Back to the Future in city driving? That doesn't sound like fun to me...burning rubber, crying children, screaming old ladies...how does a 135i owner keep the neighbors from hating them?

I have a 135i and I think it has just the right amount of power. I also find the suspension to be very soft compared to most other sports cars out there. If you are looking into buying a sports car you can expect hard suspension and a stiff ride. I've had no complaints from passengers about my 135i ride comfort.
