You may have seen these in the cosmetics section but anyways, here's my contribution to the Monaca photo album. Haven't had much time for mods yet (can't seem to get away from work) but their on the way! Enjoy!

Wanted to take a whole bunch of shots after washing my 128 yesterday, but was late for dinner so just snapped one with my compact. Looks a bit darker since the sun wasn't hitting it directly. Enjoy

My new 128i Monaco/Savanna/Poplar
Hi all,
I picked up my new 128i on Friday so my deal could get it on the books for July and so I could spend the weekend playing with my new car. I got it today to finish the cleaning.. Attached are a few photos. I picked the 128i because it was the closest to my old 2000 E46 328CI which was on its last legs. I loved that car! Anyhow, the 128i looks similar from a cockpit point of view, although it isn't nearly as refined. The drive, however, is very different. This car keeps reminding me of a go-cart! lol It really seems like a cross between my old E46 and 550 Sypder (I sold it years ago to learn to fly and get the E46.. 0-60 in 3.4s was going to be the end of me). Anyhow, here are the pics: |

Well, when I was looking at purchasing my 128i in this configuration, I had a hard time finding pictures in the color and model. There are lots of 135i cars and several 128i cars w/o sports package, but very few 128i in Monaco with savanna and gray poplar. I posted so many pictures to help others researching their new 128i.
Thanks for the positive feedback........ |

Yeah, I just learned that BMW discontinued Monaco Blue for the 2010 models -what a shame! However, I think the Deep Sea Blue will be a very nice color --a little lighter than what we have now.
As for trim, I have the Savanna Beige as well --what a great combo.

I agree, does anyone have Monaco blue and window tint?? I'm seriously considering it!

You can't get it anymore. It's been replaced with Deep Sea Blue which looks pretty similar to me.
