Help me clean adhesive off car?

Instead of using the 3M double-sided tape, I used the 3M emblem adhesive provided by BMW for the CF spoiler. Thought I cleaned it real good but once it dried it left yellow gunk stuck to the back along the lines of the spoilers.

I've tried goo-gone, and quick-detailer + plastic razor blade. Neither worked...

this area gets much more views than cosmetic

one is this a joke, or does it actually work?

3M adhesive remover sounds like a good idea haha...able to get it from anywhere (this stuff was a glue-like liquid...not these black gummy adhesives i've been seeing)

I'd try the 3M product if I had it. What I do always have is goof-off. It's way stronger than goo-gone so try everything else first, but as a last resort, cautious use of goof-off will do it.

gas or carb cleaner should do it. Just clean and wax well when done.

Cheapest products that do work for things such as tar would be peanut butter (I kid you not) and for your problem windex...yup..spray it on leave for 30 seconds and wash and rub off with soap.

goo-gone is not going to work. You have to use "goof-off" it comes in a yellow metal can with a red lid. You could also try "tarminator," but I think you are good w/ goof off, also try your wife's nail polish remover.

I agree. Although, I have used it to remove residue of double sided tape on the paint of the car with no problems, I have also used it to remove tree sap. I used it on the interior to remove the airbag warning stickers. and..... I used it on my cell phone to try to get rid of some super glue - no luck, in the process I spilled a bit on my finished wooden table and it took the stain right off, through the polyurethane.. so yeah, be careful and make sure you wax your car afterwords.
