if you re-read the last 2 pages numerous people had your back and think it COULD be a pretty cool addition.

that's what i was gonna say. just keep trying and comparing. maybe print out a close up shot of the photoshopped white concept hood and just use trial and error to get the right shape and look.

and definitely keep taking the pics from several yards away from the car so we can see the whole thing.

i can't say i'd install it on my car but it's your car so do whatever makes you happy

Any suggestions on where to get a real metal boser?

Go to a body shop, tell them what you want and give them $1200 for the work and re-spray.

dbtk, that's the same shape I used! Except I applied a smoked vinyl (actually did much earlier this year, before this thread existed). An old pic is attached below. I've been "beta-testing" this shape so to speak and have been meaning to tweak it by extending it further to side--exactly like you've done. Since I see the vinyl as temporary, the next logical step is to get custom cut ones in a special plastic material and have them painted.

.

Bullitt, yours is awesome. Yes, I need something more permanent. I wish someone would market one. I would be willing to pay up to $80 for for the proper shape and material.
