Looking for a good car wash in Austin that doesn't use the brushes that leave swirl marks. If you could include the price of a basic wash at the place, that'd be great.

check out www.shadetreeautodetailing.com for a quote if you want a good detail...as far as hand washes I'm not sure. I think there is one on 183 that does a pretty good job but can't remember the name of it.

hurm... still need to get it washed and ive got lots of free time tomorrow. any chance you could find out the name?

Yeah, it's First Hand Carwash on southbound frontage road, right before the Oak Knoll intersection. Only problems I've experienced with them is they didn't do a good job cleaning all the brake dust off my wheels. Other than that, they're decent. I usually keep it to exterior only and clean the interior myself. I hate all that greasy crap they use.
